INTERNATIONAL AI ARTATHON

The International AI Artathon is an annual AI art hackathon.

I have been an invited speaker, instructor, mentor, and judge at two AI Artathons.

In the AI Artathon, teams of artists, researchers, and programmers compete for $135,000 USD to create the best artworks using AI. These artworks can be in 2D media, 3D media, interactive installations, and/or music. The Artathon takes places annually in Saudi Arabia.

2nd International AI Artathon

I was an invited instructor, judge, mentor, and panelist at the 2nd International AI Artathon in 2021.

I taught a hands-on 3-hour workshop Generating Images & Videos with Machine Learning. In the workshop I covered the models StyleGAN and VQGAN+CLIP, as well as the practical tools of Google Colab and RunwayML.

I also served as a judge and mentor, alongside AI art experts Luba Elliott, Igor Kraft, Louis McCallum, and others.
